Is your web history empty? If it isn't, effective march 1, 2012, Google will save it and use it to their advantage.
Google’s new privacy policy will soon go into effect and any data collected prior to March 1st, as well as any collected after that, will be fair game in terms of it being combined with data collected from their other products and services in order for Google to learn more about you and then use that information to learn more about you.
However, you still have time to prevent this by removing your web history and changing options for future data collection. Here's how:
1. Sign into your Google account, then visit Google Web History.
2. Click the “Remove All Web History” option.
3. Click “OK” to confirm the removal of your Web History.
Unless you re-enable Web History, Google will not record any more history about your use of its products or services. (except for internal purposes possible law enforcement cases)
