Paint a Mural Over Graffiti
Graffiti can quickly demoralize a community. Painting murals over graffiti is a great way to turn something unattractive into a work of art. However, painting over graffiti is a costly and time-consuming task. Volunteer your time and display your love for art by helping a community paint over graffiti.


Photography
Photography is a form of art. If you have a love for photography, take photographs during a charitable event and donate the photographs to the event organizers. You can go one step further and create a collage of the photographs, highlighting special moments from the event.


Birthday Card Making
Create birthday cards for the elderly. Unfortunately, the elderly in group homes are often forgotten about by family members. Don't simply stop by to visit these folks, create something meaningful. Birthday cards are a wonderful idea. Use your artistic talent to create a memorable birthday card for someone whose birthday is often not recognized.


Sew a Quilt
Sew quilts or crochet blankets and send them to organizations for natural disaster victims. The blankets and quilts can also go to homeless shelters and orphanages.


Theater Art
After school communities for children have activities such as putting on plays. Volunteer your time and artistic talent by helping these organizations create and decorate sets for theatrical plays.
